There have been large amounts of trash littering the lawns flanking 190 at the route 5 underpass for several months now. Trash is also littering the lawns flanking the ramps that connect route 5 to 190, and the 190 Connecticut River bridge (spilling over to the bike trails beneath). There haven't been any announcements of volunteer cleanups we could join this year. Other towns are also trying to re-educate the public through publicity and billboards, which I think is critical.
