Thank you for your reply. I spoke to the Hartford Courant prior to listing this complaint. I was advised that the Hartford Courant is:

1. No longer filing the boxes with daily papers;
2. No longer installing boxes;
3. No longer removing them.

I then said, in other words, these boxes have been abandoned by the Hartford Courant. Her reply was, "I guess you can say that".

I would appreciate if this matter was investigated further. I am tired of being woken by kids banking and smashing this box in the early hours of the morning. To call the police is a wast of time since by the time they get to this location, the kids have run off. During the coming summer months, it is all day and night, at any given time, that this disruption occurs.

The residents of this area attempt to keep up their properties, as well as expend their resources on attempting to make this area a place where families would like to reside. The graffiti is horrific and makes this area appear that people just do not care as to how it looks. I resent that and so do my neighbors.

Who gave the Hartford Courant the Right of Way?
