I can’t have one speaker and a DJ at Edgewood Park during the day at a BBQ because I might bother the neighbors but “Westville Music Bowl” can blast music all night?
This better not be every weekend.

I agree the noise is really loud!

It is louder than any other event that has taken place at the Bowl. The sound travels across the flood plain (better known as Edgewood Park) and hits the Edgewood neighborhood. The effect is like a megaphone.

The 3 alders representing the wards surrounding the event setup a Westville Bowl Committee to communicate with the promoters. But the committee is private, doesn't meet in public, and doesn't report back to the public. We simply know it exists and little else.

That sounds like a CT Freedom of Information violation. All Board of Aldermen meetings and Subcommittee meetings except for executive sessions regarding litigation/ personnel issues) are required to be open to the Public.

From the commentary from the recent Independent article about the Westville Bowl it sounds like the promoters will be at Westville’s CMT meeting May 12.

It's Tuesday night and I can hear the Westville Music Bowl Lowd AF as if I'm ceter stage. Put up a a sound barrier or get sued to shut down. You are in violation of the local noise ordnance. I don't want to lost to your horrible hippy jam bands in my back yard. Someone explain to me how this is any different than the dirt bikes
