these are a nuisance when not operated or parked properly. unless the shared services start fining users, things will not change. i bet none of the users live in the neighborhood. so they dont care where they park or how fast they go.

Dan- Apparently the only way to get things changed is to complain. It will be a long summer if we have to put up with this, as well...So a long summer in Mpls either way. At least by complaining we are trying to improve the situation (for all of us). Shrugging it off as another thing to put up with in Mpls is not a solution. Having to step over and around scooters and bikes or getting almost run over by them may not bother you, but it bothers others. 311 is currently the only way to log these reports and the city won’t admit there is a problem without the complaint numbers. I enthusiastically support the efforts to report.

Dan, and if you read every comment you see about a scooters is going to be a long summer for you too. Just don’t worry about others reporting.

It explains in the app that this will result in an added charge. Is City if Minneapolis monitoring if LYFT and BIRD charging users when they don’t return these shared bikes and scooters properly?
