Description
People are running 50-60mph in both morning and afternoon.
Children are playing in streets and we need some radar set-up to slow down speeds.

I'll pass this along to our community officer tonight at the neighborhood meeting.
In the past, he's said that being as specific as possible about times (if they're consistent) is most useful. If it's always a neighbor coming home from work or school, it's much easier for them to solve the problem. I haven't heard the SeeClickFix voicemail message, so I don't know if it would be practical to work in something encouraging this, though.
(I also don't know what the numbers look like SeeClickFix-wide for use of the phone system, but obviously we here in Delano appreciate it quite a bit.)

Hey Karen,
We think the phone works well as long as there are other community members helping to shepherd and follow up on the status of the issue.
Seems like you guys are on it!
Thanks,
Ben

Wichita Police,
Is there a possibility for a speed check here?

I did not have an email for the original poster. Is this still going on?
Thanks,
Ben

Martin: Any specific times, or specific vehicles to watch for? Officer Perkins can request a traffic officer or radar crew, but it has a better chance of success if they know exactly when/where to be.
Less specific problems mean we need to talk to the engineering department about traffic calming measures.
