as far as this house is concern the landlord who lives in the house should go outside and see what exactly what his backyard looks like cause he probably hasn't seen in the past 5 years or so
Have him go see what it looks like and nothing will get done about this until we have a little child fall into the pool. Also the parents should supervise their children to make sure nothing happens to them and the only way to really solve this is notify the board of health and have them go to this home and see the diaster it looks like a tornado went through the backyard and theres probably animals in the shed back there with cars that aren't even registerd with connecticut license plates but with mass license plates

Unfortunately, this family has a residence in Mass so they manage to get out of it everytime it is brought up. The owner of the house doesn't care what they do to it and that shed really should be searched...along with the tenants

Why cant these so called people fix their house ? They get STATE checks including the Grandmother who lives in the same house with them,and gets a check for watching these children and the PARENTS don't even WORK !!! How is that ???? That should be checked into by childcare services.. Who dont know that the parents DON'T WORK !!! We pay taxes for these free loaders and people who need it cant even get help!!! Is this the same person who ask for free oil and still hasn't gotten a JOB yet !!!

This is still America, we don't search people cause they are from out of state or have a dirty pool. Get a grip and stop acting like whatever you think is right, is.

That was totally not my point mickey...I was saying that they buck the system by having the out of state residence. The landlord doesn't care about the house, the tenants don't care so it's about time the neighbors stood up to them and took their neighborhood back. The sad thing is...they won't because they are afraid these punks retaliating. I am tired of the area where I grew up turning into a trash filled dump.

I agree with the comment to call the health department if you have alreaqdy tried to work with the owners; they'll come out to make an assessment and if they find it a problem will take action.

looks as if planning and zoning took some action on this property. The tenants (all 10 of them) have been ordered to leave the premises until the home is deemed livable. Apparently the inside was worse then the outside. Thanks WH P&Z for stepping in and help cleaning up the neighborhood!!

Does it matter why it was done? It was done! My only hope is that the owner of the house doesn't let them move back in once the renovations are complete. The stuff that I heard that they found in that house makes me nauseous. Word to the wise...don't take any of the furniture left on the curb!

SERIOUSLY...is anyone going to do ANYTHING about this property? The tenants were supposedly "kicked out" due to horrible living conditions and were back in within a matter of weeks. The backyard is DISGUSTING. I guess because it's not an election year, no one cares. It's time that more than the neighbors start complaining and things actually get done. The value of the neighborhood is dropping quickly and this house is definitely one reason why. The tenants need to be kicked out AGAIN (they're "renters") and the owner fined for the filth in that yard. Let's not let another summer go by with that eyesore of a backyard still there.

probably not. These are people who do not work and live off of the state. There are ambulances that come to the home every other week because someone is sick. They throw trash out of their windows into the pool. They are disrespectful to their property and everyone elses around them. The owner of the home is no longer living there. No one is paying rent. They live their free of everything, oh except for the state cash assistance that they receive to pay the utilities. Something really needs to be done about these people. They are filthy and no good!
