Incredibly, police take no action when extreme, window shattering, wall busting, heart attact providing, noisy motorcycles scream and thunder along city streets.

Unfortunately this is an incredibly difficult problem that's coming at us from every angle imaginable. The police don't enforce the noise ordinance (many police officers are Harley riders, btw), and the motorcycle riders change the exhaust on their bikes when it comes time for inspection.

This absolutely noise pollution and horribly annoying to not only pedestrians, but anyone within earshot of these obnoxious people. And don't buy their excuse that it's a safety issue and they want cars to hear them coming. Somehow bicyclists and electric cars fair just fine with minimal noise.

Police...shut these public nightmares down! Enforce the noise ordinance.

Agreed. I live on Cherry St, and I can't keep my windows open throughout the summer months because these a-holes on Harleys come blaring through at all hours of the day. I can't count how many times I've suddenly sat upright in my bed at 2 in the morning because a group of bikers decided to rev their bikes outside my apartment building.

This is a constant source of discussion and aggravation for me and my family. If I use a jack-hammer at 10pm the police will undoubtedly come-a-knocking. Yet some redneck on a Harley with no real exhaust can disturb the peace day and night. I can only hope winter comes early so these fat rednecks on their bikes begin their hibernation. Alternatively, the police could do something about it.
