on Fairway View Rd about 15 yds from intersect with Ridgeway there are 4 "cones " which the city left there 6 months ago. A big pipe goes under the road to direct a stream. The edge of the road is caving in. one white cone is now 4'+ below grade..a drop that has occurred over the past 45 days. all the city does when this sink hole opens is pour aggregate in there til it reappears. On the opposite side of the road , they have installed a steel plate. this will be an expensive fix, but it has been a problem for more than a year. I have called many times. they come when it becomes a liability issue and stuff it full of aggrergate or cover with a plate. Dont you think you can build a fix into the budget and advise the neighbors what your plans are. you could send email to e.leitch@verizon.net she is the neighborhood coordinator.
