Thank you for taking the time to report and document this. I have recently learned the city of Minneapolis is “collecting data” on 311 to determine the extent of the problem before taking action. The contracts for Lyft and Bird have also been requested for review by citizen groups to determine the extent of violation of company contracts. Our only way to solve the problem eventually is 311 reporting now. Please continue to report violations.

Instead of doing anything about the problem, the city shut down the 311 "scooter issue" category after 3400 complaints in the first 80 days of the 2021 season, so residents are no longer able to report issues. Be sure to vote - your current Ward 3 rep fiercely defends and thinks this is a successful program.
