Not to keep going on with this issue, but until this water issue was published in the Record-Journal I did not know this website existed. Our water was effected badly. I asked our neighbors, but they stated no smell or taste. So I thought, it must be me . I decided to use bottled water for cooking and drinking. Now days later the laundry I washed and dried during this problem has an odor of dirt. All the laundry had to be redone. What a waste of limited natural recources. I do not know why this issue is an issue. It should not be, no other town/city I have lived in has experienced this problem as frequently as this has. I work in downtown Hartford and that water taste better then my water here in Meriden. A corrective and preventative action needs to take place.
