Hi! I’ve noticed that cars really speed down our street - Keep Street. They take the turn from Prospect and really are going fast. We have a lot of young families with little kids. Is there any way this spot could be considered for a “children at play” sign. Or is there anything else we can do to help reduce the speed of drivers on our street. I’m willing to do anything to help - fundraise etc.

Thank you for reporting your concern. The Police Department just ordered new "Slow Children At Play" signs and I am awaiting their arrival. I will also conduct a speed study on Keep Street to see if there is any glaring speeding issues that need to be addressed. I will post another comment when there is an update. Two new "Slow Children At Play" signs were installed today by DPW on Keep Street. There is one installed near Prospect Street and one down by the YMCA. I hope this helps, any other issues please don't hesitate to contact me. (See Picture)
