I am not sure what the laws are but I live on Cottage Lake and I see a lot of paddleboarders on the lake, many are young kids, like 8 or 10 years old. I would say 80 percent of the paddleboarders are not wearing a life jacket and do not have one on board. I think maybe the County could do an educational outreach to the paddleboarders or maybe in conjunction with King County Water Rescue.. that water is still cold and these kids are out in the middle of the lake on the paddleboards with no life jackets...
