9005 Sw 171 Terrace Palmetto Bay, Florida
Some southbound vehicles continue speeding in spite of the temporary"speed hump" placed on 90th Avenue just north of 171 Terrace. Not to decelerate the car/cars evade the hump by driving the whole vehicle in the sod and sidewalk section west of the rubber hump edge. This has created an imminet danger for all who walk on this sidewalk, since this continuosly happens during the day and after sunset. There is no street illumination. With rainy conditions the cars can easily loose control in the muddy sod and hit a walker by.
To help with this, on 12/20/2016 I bought and placed "12" Swale Concrete Buttons on this sod area. This solution worked well but proved to be temporary. All 12 Buttons were stolen on the night of 12/23 and now this situation continues. A VIABLE SOLUTION IS TO PLACE A SPEED,HUMP OR SCHOOL SIgn in the sod area immediately west of the hump.
