Water running down the hill on Georjean Dr has caused significant erosion along the edge of road. In some places the edge of the road is sinking. Requesting to fix this before winter. Thanks.

The no left turn at Deal Rd and Rt 35 Open

Intersetion Rte 35 And Deal Rd In Ocean Twp

PLEASE put an illuminated NO LEFT TURN sign at this intersection.... every time I go through it someone tries to turn left and almost kills drivers who are going straight. I have seen nice bright no left signs(the kind with the left arrow with the "ghostbuster" sing through it)
and while they're at it put one up at the W park ave and 35 i and the Sunset and 35 intersection in town. I bet the illegal left stop completely. A little info goes a long way!

there are currently stop signs on the Gravel Hill sides to cross Rt 537. People don't stop or they try to cross 537 when cars are going very fast. Accidents are happening with alarming frequency.

  How about making it a "Right Turn ONLY" from Gravel Hill onto 537 East AND West! And a "No Left Turn" from 537 in both directions. This would keep traffic moving and alleviate some of the danger. Let's see how that works before installing a light and causing more backups on 537 simply to accommodate the left-turning cars esp. considering the speed limit on 537 and the often careless drivers making, or attempting to make these turns. There are alternate routes and they are nearby. Seems like a plausible option - at least one to try.

  Since I originally posted this there have been more accidents and just last night I witnessed a near miss as a car coming down 537 was not seen by a car turning onto 537 - luckily they both hit their breaks but still, THIS IS NOT A SAFE INTERSECTION - they started repaving the road to widen it - where is the light????

  Still think it should be a "RIGHT TURN ONLY" intersection from ALL directions. It will alleviate the "going for it" attitude from drivers in a hurry, and reduce the need for a light. A traffic light will only slow, stop traffic on 537, which is already way to crazy.

  Well they are doing massive construction work now to widen the lanes and eventually, the light will be there. There will be a right turn lane from 537 onto Gravel Hill from 537 and I think from Grave Hill onto 537. They are eventually planning to widen the entire length of 537 from there down to Great Adventure into a 4 lane road ao the traffic is not going to stop. I drive through the developments now, Much easier.

Tree covering STOP Sign - URGENT Archived

Ridge And 8th Ave Neptune New Jersey

Very dangerous - People ignore the STOP here regularly going South on Ridge - I figured out why - The STOP sign is covered by a tree as you approach the intersection. Serious pruning or removal is needed !

Stop sign hazard Archived

The stop sign hazard.
Many go right threw it.
I have seen many close calls, it will cause an accident also the noise is awful at night.
I would like it to come down in the summer.
We wanted something to slow drivers down coming off Hwy 35. The School is on 12th over the Rail road tracks.

  So many cars and trucks go threw the stop sign I would like to know why are there no tickets being given out? Why is it even there if it isn't being of any real use? It isnt slowing most drivers down, they cant even see it at night.
  I have almost been ran over walking across the street and hit by speeding cars going threw the stop sign.
  If people got more tickets Im sure then, they would ask for it to come down at least in the summer.
  I am all for protecting others but in the summer this is a hazard its time to take it down.

  Ok so the summer has begun.
  This stops sign is a real joke.
  No policeing at night on the weekends because they are dealing with the bar crowds and this isnt that important.
  Hmmmmm I get no sleep all weekend I want to move this sign under Mayor Prigles Bedroom window, and see how he likes it. Why not put up a traffic light?
  So those who dont know, or cant see this sign can see the light. The screechings to a stop and then excelerating is driving me nuts. Someone is going to get hurt, them the town will be sued.........
  Maybe then they will do something.
  Please HELP sleepless in BELMAR and no one cares!

  I have noticed some of the other stop signs have come down.
  I would love to see this one come down for the summer. I do not look foreword to being awoken at night with the sound of screeching breaks. Then the sound of surging motors.
  Although we love our summer tourists they are not use to he sign being there, and after leaving Bar A in the middle of the night well you can imagin.......
  And our locals aren't stopping now. This sign confuses people if you must keep it up, please put up a very visible stop light!!
  I would like to see it taken down for the summer.

Changed traffic signal timing Open

Rt-36 W & Wyckoff Rd Eatontown, NJ, 07724, USA

The timing of this light was recently changed. It is way to short now. I checked that it's only green for 30 seconds. When the light at Rt 35 turns green, about 3 cars are all that can fit before Rt 35 is being blocked by the cars trying to cross it. The other problem is that cars making a left from 35N to 36W now block the intersection so cars on 35S can't cross the intersection. A light on that busy of an intersection should be green for at least 1 minute, if not 2. At least change it back to what is was before.

  Township traffic management or State DOT need to look at this. The congestion, especially during rush hours is horrible. With people knowing its a short light, left turn people risk being hit by those trying to get through the intersection to get more than 3-4 cars. For now, i suggest folks avoid the intersection and Rt 35. I found a route via the Waze application and cut 15-20 minutes off my commute home by totally avoiding Rt 35 to the Parkway.

At the intersection of Holmdel Road and Line Road, there is a large tree. It has been dropping increasingly larger and larger branches onto Line Road. Now I’ve noticed that there is fungus growing on the base of this tree. While I love having large old trees, I am concerned that this one poses a hazard to traffic at that intersection, especially to cars stopped at the stop sign on Line Road and cars stuck behind them. Can the township have an arborist check the health of the tree? Maybe the questionable branches should be cut off or the tree pruned or removed.

Needs a proper jug handle or eliminate the stop sign to turn left. Open

Lanes Mill Rd Howell, NJ, 07731, USA

This intersection is dangerous!!! The traffic volume in this area is to high with the Walmart/also and Lowes/BJs plaza across the street. To enter this interests from rte 9 s bound and make a left into the lanes mills cross over 9 heading towards Lowes the cars coming the opposite direction can not clearly see you. Those vehicles race through the intersection because it becomes one lane just after the stop sign. After being in an avoidable accident here, the first responders and police both commented immediately that this is the worst intersection in howell and should have never been setup this way! Our young drivers should be a ken to safely maneuver these roads, not attempt to avoid them!!

Poorly timed street light Archived

Intersection Of Grand And Monroe Asbury Park, New Jersey

The street light at this intersection is timed for longer traffic movement for Monroe than Grand, almost like the signal turned in the wind and is set for the wrong direction. There was synchronicity down Grand and this light is now certainly out of sync--red for 90% of all traffic driving down Grand. Very annoying and very energy wasteful.
