Offensive grafiti in the AMAFCA Arroyo
This area is in the county but in AMAFCA right-of-way.

4 teen boys were seen yesterday vandalizing city property at approximately 3:45 pm on Thursday Oct 5th. They removed all the the poop bags from the dispenser at the top of the greenbelt next to the bridge that is located on Georgia O'Keefe. They tied one end to the fence on the bridge and proceeded down the ditch with the other end. They also littered the park with these bags. While performing these antics they were yelling and screaming some of the foulest language I have ever heard. I called 242-COPS and reported the situation. I am not sure if they showed up to make contact with the teens. The unfortunate part of all of this is that I could not address the situation because of possible retaliation to me or my home. This area of the park is favorite hangout for many teens after school and most times they are up to no good under the bridge. Problems include graffiti, smoking, drinking and using the area as a toilet. I believe that these young teens from Thursday are students at Desert Ridge Middle School.
