Dug up, patched road on Water St. after work was "done" last year! Archiviert

159-315 Water St Newburgh, NY 12550, USA

This section of Water St.--going away from Cornwall down by waterfront area-- was never paved over after work was being done on this road last year. A strip that goes down the center of this road remains bumpy and unfinished and not only could be a hazard to cars but to persons trying to avoid this area of the road. We need this paved over!

  patched a bit but NEVER paved over to a smooth surface! I constantly see cars avoiding the center of that lane and driving either on one side of it or the other...cannot understand the issue with paving over that AND paving over 2nd street , going up to the city Library...too many potholes that are filled in but never paved over...the potholes reappear after a month.

  FINALLY...it only took 2 1/2 years but as of last week November 2015, this has been paved!!! Now, of course, we heard there is a sinkhole in the area of 2nd street and River Rd but they are working on this now. Good to be able to drive on that road now...all the way from 9w/Robinson to Cornwall via River Rd.

27-57 Pierces Rd Newburgh, NY 12550, USA

Pierces road connecting South Street and Gidney Avenue needs to be repaved or repaired. It is in horrible shape with pot holes, uneven pavement, and bumby stretches. Ironically, a DPW station is located on this road as well. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
