Fall Leaf Collection 2023

Fall Leaf collection, yes, it is that time of the year to wipe the dust off those leaf blowers, and lawn rakes, and tidy up the lawn. Fall leaf collection will begin September 11th and continue through December 15th. Public Works crews will collect leaves once each week throughout the Borough until collection ends.

Please have leaves ready for collection by 7:00 am each Monday. Please rake leaves within 5 feet of the curb and do not place leaves in bags. Please refrain from blowing or raking leaves into the street. Please make sure that leaves are free of brush, glass, cans, rocks, or other debris, as these items may cause damage to the collection equipment. Foreign objects and debris mixed in with leaves also add contamination to our compost materials making it more difficult to produce a quality product. After December 15th, un-bagged leaves can be placed in your organics cart which will be collected on your normal refuse collection day.

If you use a landscape company or contractor for your lawn care, please inform them of this schedule to ensure your leaves are placed at the curb on the correct week!
