Free Community Art Class: Saturday, December 2 (Space is Limited)
Updated onThis Saturday, December 2, join us at The Gathering Place Community Center (6280 Bryant Street, Union City, GA 30291) for a FREE Abstract Expression Painting class led by @somethinggoodartist, Erin Hammerle. Students will learn about color schemes, elements of art, and then apply these techniques to their own textured, abstract painting using color, line, and shape. Each class will be approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Youth classes are ages 8-12, Adult classes are 13+. Youth classes will be held from 10 AM - 11:30 AM; Adult classes will be held from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM. Art supplies will be provided to participants. Hurry, there are only twenty (20) spots available per class.

Youth Class (Ages 8-13): This class will focus on making an abstract painting full of texture and color play. Students will end the class with a piece of their own design.
Adult Class (Ages 13+): This class will focus on learning the basics of working with alcohol inks and teaching students how to play with color and texture in an abstract painting. Students will end the class with a piece of their own design.
