Governor Lujan Grisham Issues Amended Public Health Order Effective March 19, 2020 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE GALLUP, NM (March 18, 2020) – The City of Gallup would like to pass on the following information from the Governor’s Press Conference today, March 18, 2020.  Effective starting tomorrow, March 19, 2020, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has issued the following Public Health Order:   These orders are in effect 03/19/2020 ‐ 04/10/2020 and are subject to change or extension. 

 No public gatherings larger than 10 people. 

 All Restaurants are allowed to continue take‐out and delivery only.   

 All Bars must close. 

 All Spas, Gyms, Movie Theaters, Shopping Malls, Health Clubs are to close. 

 All Casinos and Horse Racing facilities are to close. (Tribal Casinos will have their own authority to make the decision) 

 All Hotels and Motels (any lodging facility) will only be allowed to have 50% capacity. 

 There will be limits placed on purchases of necessary medical and hygiene supplies. 

 Businesses are now asked if at all possible, to limit the number of workers in the workplace be limited to essential staff only.
