Requests: street light
325 Liberty Street Petaluma California
Pole no. 1222
I had to conquer the hillside neighborhood on bicycle just to document this missed street light--it still hasn't been replaced with LED. Keep in mind the number is for the PG&E utility pole, which appears to be freshly installed since it's still coated in a wet preservative. It's positioned by the driveway for the residence on 311 Liberty St. Get rid of this sodium vapor light fixture already!
125 Prince Albert St Petaluma 94954, United States
Pole no. K3188
No wonder this spot looked so unusually dark. The light has stopped shining at night. It’s on the north side of the street, partly hidden in some trees, and it holds a speed limit sign.
962-966 Lakeville Street Petaluma California
Pole no. 1985
Across the street from the Gateway Plaza, an LED has failed to activate for the night. There's no checksum for the light, but it is mounted on a PG&E power pole positioned between Goodwill and Jensen. A new LED fixture recently replaced a defective one, but it's shining very dimly, probably the result of impaired wiring. An adjacent street had also stopped shining, leaving this spot on Lakeville St completely dark.
Copeland St. Petaluma California
Pole nos. 338C190 and 5311
Two street lights along this block have stopped shining. Each are mounted on wooden power poles. Birds must have snipped the service wire feeding each light. The vintage lights at the transit center aren't bright enough to illuminate the street.
456-498 E Washington St Petaluma Ca 94952 Usa
Pole no. 2526
A quick pass by this light pole shows that LED is now strobing very faintly. The luminaire's electrical compartment must be waterlogged from all the rain several days prior. Replacement seems all but certain. The pole stands right in front of the Boost Mobile shop.
East Washington Street Petaluma California
Pole no. K3054
New LEDs were just installed at this intersection, meaning the last of the high-pressure sodium vapor lights are gone. The light on the north corner isn't turning on at night, suggesting faulty wiring (that might explain why the old light wasn't working either). This is great progress so far.
101 Rancho Bonito Cir Petaluma 94954 United States
Pole no. K242
Found an LED street light that’s still illuminated in broad daylight. Its photocell is probably dirty, or has failed. The light pole is on the corner of Sartori Dr and Rancho Bonito Cir, on the north leg of the circuitous street. The numerals are barely legible and missing the letter "K". They're also covered in a cryptic graffito writing.
