Isn't there an ordinance around maintaing your property? The house next to the fanced in storage facility hasn't mowed their lawn at all this year. This is an eye sore for anyone that drives or walks by.
At the corner of Hale and West St. the side walks are so overgrown with bushes and trees if anyone wanted touse the sidewalk it would be impossible. Make the property owners clean up.
One should see the poison ivy that is now over taking the bushes and the mess along the curb. This is all part of what visiting sports teams and people see on their way to the high school for events. Time to do a clean sweep.
We have the exact same problem on South and New streets. I also recommend reporting to acleanerpottstown.org. Our occupied rental remains a problem - but the abandoned homes are now maintained by the Boro (who has done way more to keep the area maintained than the "landlord" ever did). Good Luck!

Snow? How long has this property been abandoned? I would have reported the snow last year to the codes dept. Next time, email Ms. Gerber and tell her you are making a formal complaint. Take a picture and send it to her. Ms. Gerber is a codes enforcer.
Overgrown hedges on corner of Mervine St. and Juniper St. are blocking view for cars. Dangerous intersection for cars coming out from Juniper onto Mervine St. because you have to inch out blindly. TRIM THE HEDGES!
I find it interesting that people have such an interest in how often other people mow their yards. Next there will be complaints on what flowers are planted... or not planted, what color they paint their shutters or whether they wash their car. Big problems for small minds.
Last years eyesore got 3ft high, I don't know about U, but I have some pride in my neighborhood, stick to Your peppers, but don't lettum get too overgrown
overgrown sidewalks, making it all but impossible to walk on.The place is a total eye sore for the neighborhood. With its location,we should not have to report it.Ordinace is not doing its job!
Alley that goes between 214 & 218 Oak Street - please look at the tree that is hanging all over the wires. Telephone pole is hidden in tree. NEEDS TO BE TRIMMED BADLY!!! Don't want wires to pull out of people's homes that are connected to utility pole. Overgrowing in people's backyards & alleyway. PLEASE TRIM TREE!!!
