The ParkPrinceton App is over charging for parking by up to 80 minutes after the time for metered parking ends. No one answers the technical support number for the App and the voice mailbox for App tech support is full. I parked for dinner and a movie yesterday and was initially charged for parking until 9:20. I cancelled that transaction when I realized meter charges should not have gone past 8 pm still paying a minimum charge and convenience fee. The attached new transaction in 15 minute increments charged me until 8:13pm to cover parking until 8pm and still charged me for 13 minutes past the metered cutoff for the lot. I note today Fri. 9/13, the App now wants to charge me for that lot until 10:20 even though meter cutoff is at 9 pm on Friday. Confirm the App company still has employees and fix the over charge glitch in the App. I should not have been charged two convenience fees and the overage for parking after the meter cutoff time. I already spoke to parking about this, but given the App glitch is continuing today, I wanted to put this issue on the public record.
