Requests: road safety
1423 Quinnipiac Ave New Haven, CT, 06513, USAI currently do not have pictures of the very huge pothole it's located in the entry way to our condo complex along with housing complex owned by the city of New haven, due to the excessive amount of rain the hole is large enough for someone to fall or break an ankle. This is the only driveway we have for the use of over 300 or more residents. Its very unsafe for walking and driving. There are several other potholes forming to the other side of the driveway as well, once you come into the complexes there are several pot holes in front of st. Anthony's in which is owned by the state of Connecticut. This is a serious probably that can not wait to be addressed. Its for the safety of all residents.

Thanks! Thanked!140 Middletown Ave New Haven 06513, United StatesImagine trying to roll a wheelchair down this sidewalk or walk on it without slipping on stones. If we are ever going to be a walkable community New haven needs to have better sidewalk violations enforcement. This particular sidewalk belongs to first student, a company with the motto safety first and has looked just like this for a very long time.
20 Hemingway Place New Haven, ConnecticutIt's the beginning of the school year and once again, people are totally ignoring traffic signs and are illegally parking, including the new Safety Crossing guard. His car is the second one parked behind the white van, with the arrow on it. I know, because i spoke with him when he parked directly in front of the stop sign. The first four cars on the right side are parked illegally and the black car on the left side. This parking creates a danger for people entering or exiting Hemingway Place, and it's even more dangerous when children are crossing going into those cars. There are no sidewalks on Hemingway Place and it is a narrowing street than the other surrounding streets. We've been over this before though. I will continue to take pictures until this stops.

Trash and reopened pot holes
This is the entryway to Housing Authority Cherry Hill, Hidden quarry, Harbor Crest, St.Johns1-2 condos me (Mark Spencer) and a friend (Audrey Richards)went and took the effort to clean up the entire entryway This is a before picture and after (I can only paste one picture at a time) just wanted to let all of the condo associations and board members know about it takes no effort nothing but a minute to pick up the trash. Although we shouldn't have to because we all pay condo fees for cleanup and assessment. There's no reason for it to look like this walk in the property you have leaves and debris everywhere in the condos they're not picking it up and taking it away they are blowing it all over the place which is wrong we are paying for it to be token off all the properties you also have drains that need to be cleaned out for water flow which and on top of that the potholes in front of the entryway are coming back open you guys just patched them in March of this year (Quinnipiac Avenue and St.John entryway) it needs to be cut out and done correctly we are all paying out too much money to have this issue it needs to be addressed for safety all of the condo units have a percentage that they have to share but nobody is putting any percentage at all into the cleaning.
It looks clean now and hopefully all the condo units will take heed to this.

440 Front St New Haven, CT 06513, USAThe lights for the I-91 underpass on Front St south of Middletown Avenue are burned out. This was once a favorite spot for illegal dumping. The lighting would help prevent it from happening again
Weybosset St New Haven, CT, 06513, USAWeybosset street between Cross St and Cranston Street need a traffic flow parking restriction like on Ramsdell st going towards Fairfield St where you can go down street without big vehicle having to wait behind parked cars to navigate street everyday it already has speed bumps now narrow lanes so they cant park there use their driveways as driveways
21 Palmieri Ave New Haven, CT 06513, USAThere will be a temporary parking ban posted on Palmieri Ave. in front of 21 Palmieri Ave. to install speed bumps on 07/03/2019, from 7:00AM - 5:00PM . Permit #RO-18-421. Approximate end date is 07/03/2019
Barnes Avenue And Middletown Avenue New Haven, ConnecticutThe traffic signal at the very busy intersection of Barnes Avenue and Middletown Avenue has not been working for two weeks. Middletown is flashing yellow and Barnes Avenue is flashing red. It is almost impossible and very very dangerous for anyone to make a left hand turn off of Barnes Avenue onto Middletown Ave. I've watched school buses full of children trying to make that left hand turn. Very dangerous. Can this be fixed and returned to a regular Stoplight function as soon as possible??· Reported by Linda Burton · Flag Flagged
