19708 15th Avenue Northeast Shoreline, Washington
Several trees fell down at the tail end of the snow storm that hit the area in early February. Portions of these trees still remain and are blocking the sidewalk on east side of the street. Those taking public transit and who disembark at the 196th St stop of the 347 to walk northbound along 15th Ave., are forced to walk in the street for nearly 100' on a very heavily-trafficked roadway. This is extremely unsafe (especially at night), since there is a bend in the road just south of the stop that makes it difficult for motorists to identify pedestrians and to alter their path to avoid hitting them.
I'm not sure if this is something that can be handled by the City or whether the City can induce local property owners to make a more immediate removal.
Thank you
