692 10th Ave South Saint Petersburg, Florida
At 12pm today, 7/27/17, A St Pete City Sanitation Vehicle #R421 / 122421 / Plate # XD9827 collided with my back fence at 692 10th Ave South (8th Street S @ Jasmine Terrace S.) causing damage to the fence - which was newly repaired from the last time a city vehicle collided with it. The incident is on video camera. This is an on-going problem which the city has been aware of for a very long time now. Do your drivers not stop when they cause property damage???? Why are trucks this large using this narrow alley, especially if your driver's are not trained to navigate them safely? WHEN is the city going to fix the cause of this problem (which, to remind you yet again) is the result of a traffic / engineering problem at this corner which causes traffic to drive over the sidewalk and lawn at 1020 8th Street south, and to routinely strike my fence. How many more times am I going to have to report this before the City addresses the issue? I have fully replaced this fence 3 times now, and have repaired it multiple times!
