10 Erie Street Troy, New YorkThere is a sinkhole forming where the city of Troy repaired a water leak. As usual, they did not repair the road surface correctly and it has sunk creating a sinkhole. This has been there for 1 1/2 weeks now. Also, just up the street, a house is falling down and should be torn down before someone gets hurt.· Reported by Why Do I Pay Taxes · Flag Flagged

Is anyone else sick and tired of Ross Valve polluting our neighborhood?
They'll tell you that their emissions are 100% legal but that's a lie.
The DEC is currently trying to force Ross Valve to clean up their emissions but Ross Valve refuses.
The DEC case against Ross Valve has been going on for years.
The Coke (coal by-product) they burn emits massive amounts of poisonous sulpher into the air of our neighborhood.
You've probably noticed that they almost only pollute at night now. This is because Seton Health and St Marys hospital are less active. Seton Health and St Marys hospital have both complained about Ross Valve but still, nothing happens.
What does it take to make Ross Valve stop sending poisonous fumes into our neighborhood?· Reported by Smoke hater · Flag Flagged
Stow Ave Troy, New YorkAn SUV and pick up truck backed up to my fence where my garden is. They havent been moved in a couple years. Looks like a used car lot .He has seven vehicles and six are parked on grass in his yard. Looks like he's trying to hide the two that are parked right up to our chain linked fence. Only one person in the home drives. How can I get him to move these away from the property line before they ooze fluids into ground that could harm whats growing on my side... What do I do? Who do I call? Neighbor is totally unreasonable about this and says we should build a bigger fence if we don't want to see them..( really dude?)Seeing them isn't the only issue, it's the damage they can cause.· Reported by madasheck · Flag Flagged

Why do I have to put up with this disturbance? How is the business legal? The regular street noise is bad enough in the summer now we have to put up with this?· Reported by Long time resident of Troy · Flag Flagged
86 3rd Street Troy, New York
For the past several months, a man has been selling drugs out in front of the Discount Beauty store, @ 86 3rd Street.
To makes matters worse, the owner of that building is allowing this man to live in the apartment above, which is not up to code for people to live in. The owner also knows this man is a drug dealer.
The clincher is this: This man is selling drugs right in front of his toddlers, and he keeps the kids in the same car which he stores the drugs in, while selling; a black Chevrolet Blazer. He stores the drugs in a small fabric lunch bag, in the rear of the Chevrolet Blazer.· Reported by A.K. · Flag Flagged
