350 Wenner Way Fort Washington, PennsylvaniaGood morning. A sealant was applied on the 300 block of Wenner Way yesterday and we received a notice not to drive until the barriers were removed. No barriers were up last night. This morning it looks like trucks came through at some point and damaged the road surface. Perhaps there will be more work done? Please use barriers until the work is complete and safe for road traffic to alert both residents and non-residents (who have no idea of what work has been done) to not drive on the road surface. Thanks!
601 W 8th St Lansdale, PA 19446, USAThere should be a traffic light at Moyer & 8th St or at the very least, make it a 3 way stop. Trying to get out of Moyer onto 8th St is very difficult especially during work traffic hours.· Reported by Kaye Hawkins · Flag Flagged
2094-2098 Limekiln Pike Fort Washington, PA 19034, USAThe traffic light is only allowing 3-4 seconds of green light for traffic coming down Limekiln to make a left on Susquehanna. This is causing unnecessary traffic jams on Limekiln. I've lived here for years and it was never that short- something's wrong!
Limekiln Pike & Babylon Road Horsham, PAThis interesection should be controlled by detectors, not timers. Everyone wastes time & gas stopping on Limekiln when there's no traffic on Babylon.· Reported by Anonymous · Flag Flagged
1700 Fort Washington Avenue Maple Glen, Pennsylvania
I am requesting that consideration be given to implementing a road diet and traffic calming measures to the section of Fort Washington Ave between Limekln Pike and Welsh Road. The road is a township owned residential road that experiences high traffic volume and excessive speed. It receives a fair amount of cut-through traffic from drivers using it for access to and from the south part of the township to Welsh Road. Pedestrians and cyclist are forced to share the road with this present traffic and it increases the concern for safety. Within the last year there has been three incidents on this stretch of road as per reports noted in the AmblerGazette;
DAMAGE >> Two mailboxes in the 1700 block of Fort Washington Avenue, Maple Glen, were destroyed overnight March 19, police said. A vehicle apparently northbound on Fort Washington went off the right side of the road onto the front yard of one property, struck the mailbox and continued onto the next door neighbor’s lawn, striking another mailbox, before going back onto the roadway, police said. A piece of the front grille of a Nissan was found on one yard, police said, and one victim said his dog was barking around 4 a.m., which might be when the incident occurred.
HIT & RUN >> Two vehicles parked along the curb in the 1600 block of Fort Washington Avenue, Maple Glen, were damaged by a hit and run driver around 4:05 a.m. Sept. 30, police said. The owner was awakened by the noise of a crash and looked outside and saw a vehicle drive away, headed eastbound on Bell Lane, police said.
HIT & RUN >> The driver’s side mirror of a Hyundai Elantra parked in the 1600 block of Fort Washington Avenue was found broken off at 10:29 p.m. Dec. 29, police said. It appeared the striking vehicle had been northbound on Fort Washington, police said.
The environment that exists as a result of the traffic volume and speed decreases safety, increases noise and dust pollution, and reduces the sense of community among the residence along this portion of the road.
In addition to the solutions that the township may provide on this issue, I am interested in the thoughts and solutions that the residence can provide as well.
Let’s make our communities more walkable, enjoyable, and create a sense of community.
State Route 2017 Ambler, PennsylvaniaI am a student at Upper Dublin High School, and since about march of last school year, I have been biking to and from school nearly every day. My ride home brings me to the intersection of Fort Washington Ave. and Susquehanna Rd. coming from the High School on Fort Washington. At this intersection, there is no way for me, as a cyclist, to indicate to the light that I am there, which means that there are times when I have to wait for a few minutes in the heat for the light to change. Now, it should be noted, that at this intersection, and some others in the district, there are buttons for the crosswalks to change the light, but at this specific intersection the only button is on the opposite side of the road. On a typical road, I would cross over to the side with the button, press it, and cross back, but on this turn I have no clear view of cars coming from the right on Susquehanna Road, and if one happened to be turning as I was crossing, I would most likely be hit by that car. I don't want that.
Can there be some way to indicate to this light that cyclists are there? It would also be helpful to have some way to do this on other lights, where this issue is also present, such as coming from Meetinghouse Road approaching the intersection with Dillon Road.

1344-1346 Pennsylvania 309 North Wales PA 19454, USAA left turn arrow is needed as you exit the Olive Garden shopping center onto 309 north bound. Traffic backs up into the center and creates gridlock. Also, this light's green cycle is way too short.· Reported by Anonymous · Flag Flagged
1100 Virginia Drive Fort Washington, PennsylvaniaThe street light just installed on Virginia Drive, in front of building J, exiting DelVry University/office complex iis not on treadle. People are waiting upwards of 4-5 minutes to get the green light. then only 2-3 cars are able to go through. With the growth of this complex, traffic exiting will only getting worse.
3200-3238 Elroy Rd Hatfield, PA 19440, USAThe trees on Derstine road at the intersection with Elroy make it very difficult to see traffic when trying to turn out of Elroy. Also traffic on Derstine speeds through so fast its surprising there haven't been accidents here.
1520 Koffel Rd Hatfield, PA 19440, USASomething needs to be done woth the light at Koffel and Orvilla. If you are heading east on Koffel and want to make a right turn it is next to impossible unless there is no traffic at all. There is no room to go around a vehicle making a left. Waiting thru 3-5 light changes is ridiculous.· Reported by John Beitler · Flag Flagged
