Graffiti under bridge when entering Spring Glen. Can public works paint over it? Would immediately improve the first impression over the neighborhood when entering.
See attached image. Reported debris from an accident on corner of Dixwell and Mather and a bag of trash on bridge over canal. Response is that the accident debris is on the list but Parks department has to pick up the trash. The same truck can't drive 40 feet up the street and pick up a bag of trash ?
I Agree the same crew should have picked up the bag also.
Al,
Please have the Litter and Blight crew check the area and pick up any
debris, garbage, etc.. regardless of where it lays.
Thank You
You guys do a great job Thanks Is it possible to clean up the bridge next to 219 Brook street It's been a long time since that area was clean Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼 ?
Corner of Mather and Dixwell - Remnants of a car accident (front bumper) has been laying on sidewalk for two weeks. Also on bridge over canal walk a bag of trash has been left on the sidewalk
Metal bridge over Mill River in East Rock Park (no street address, but between East Rock Rd and Eli Whitney museum) is missing a board and needs to be repaired.
The bridge at pine rock park on Brook Street in Hamden is in dire need of repair. It's a safety issue. Someone (children) or something (children's bikes) is going to fall through that bridge. The wood planks are old, worn, rotted, and weak. The deterioration is significant.
Greetings. The Town of Hamden litter and Blight Department has received your submission and is looking into the reported issue. Please remain patient as our personnel work to resolve your issue. We will notify you when your submission has been resolved. Thank you.
Brush needs trimming: it's overgrown on the north side of the bridge. The overgrown brush hides the bridge and creates a driving hazard (because you can't see the narrower lanes or the stone walls) unless you're already familiar with the area.
Greetings. The Town of Hamden Public Works Department is pleased to announce that your reported issue has been resolved. Thank you for submitting your concerns to the Public Works Department. Please contact our office at 203-287-2600 with any further questions or concerns.
