1273 Penn Street Northeast Washington, DC 20002, United States of America
This abandoned building and lot is completely paved. Along with the alley, a lot of water runs off the back. In the summer, it is terribly HOT because it is completely paved. The building also collects standing water and is home to thousands of mosquitos. Trash gets stuck in the property and rats find haven in this lot. Graffiti covers portion of the building. The boarded up garage door and no trespassing signs make the area eyesore and depressing. This lot needs to be converted into a good use, either a residence or a PARK with much needed native plants and trees.
