Piles of trash behind Washington/Cross st apartments are attracting large rats which have also been spotted several times. Never enough bins for this building and they have NO recycling bins so of course trash isn’t enough. This is a problem every week. Can the city work with the landlord to come up with a better solution?

Waste Management has ignored several scheduled pickups for my mattress despite dozens of calls over a month. I don't know who else I should contact. Here is a record of calls so far, I will continue to update:
Dec 12 Initial call to pickup. Told to "put it out with recycling on Tuesday" even though my recycling is picked up on Monday.
Dec 17 put mattress out Sunday night in case pickup was monday
Dec 18 recycling was picked up monday as usual
Dec 20 Called after mattress was not picked up mon or tues, I was told it would be picked up on the 26th even though I insisted that is not my week for recycling.
Dec 26 trash picked up, not recycling (as expected), no mattress pickup
Dec 27 Called WM again. They then told me they have no record of my ticket!
Dec 28 Called again, I was then told me of course they have the ticket and pick up would be that day. Dec 29 Called WM and they said they would contact supervisor and call back. They never did.
At this point I called Medford DPW who said they would straighten it out and call me back. Never heard from them either.
Jan 3 Called WM, was told they were calling dispatcher and would be picked up immediately and issued a second ticket number.
Jan 9 Called WM, told again they were calling dispatcher and would call me back. Never called back. Called Medford DPW, again promised to look into it and call back and did not.

Earlier this year Verizon destroyed this intersection with poor work. The patch job has been sinking deeper and deeper. They left behind a large rusty pipe which is still there. They left trash and gloves as well but I cleaned those up months ago. Many pedestrians cross this intersection to cross the rotary to Medford Square and it's dangerous enough. None of the crosswalks are painted here either.

The sidewalk leading from city hall to the rotary has been ripped up and left in very dangerous condition this week. It is nearly impassable to those who are sure footed with hiking boots let alone someone in a wheel chair. Hundreds of us use this every day to cross the rotary to access Medford Sq. Inexcusable and dangerous.

Sidewalks never shoveled from ANY snow all year. Exiting bus at medford city hall to I shoveled bus stop, no choice to walk in traffic in street for a good distance. Major safety issue.

227 Salem St has not even attempted to shovel their sidewalk, so you must walk around the tall snow bank into busy Salem street, very dangerous. They piled all the snow from their driveway onto the sidewalk.

Two shopping carts and a smashed TV have been sitting by the fence on cross st for months. These need to be disposed of.

Dead tree fell across fence and across Cross st, damaged fence and car

Bad pothole on 93N just past assembly entrance ramp showing bridge under structure, several cars pulled over

Do Not Enter sign behind CVS is not visible from Medford st, so drivers have no idea they can't use the inviting entrance into the parking lot which has a friendly officer waiting.

The yellow blinking island warning light in front of Brookline bank is facing the opposite direction, the base is ripped off and wiring is exposed
