The entire sidewalk needs to be replaced as a city tree is raising all the cement slabs making them go cattywampish. Impossible for myself, a wheelchair user to traverse this section...my dog and I go in the street.with the forewarned mothers with babystrollers who don't want their child getting whiplash before their 16th birthday.

Totally impossible to traverse this section of sidewalk with a wheelchair...have to go out in street with me dog and all the mothers with baby strollers trying not to give their infant whiplash jolting over 3-4 inch drops. Totally dangerous for unsuspecting pedestrians walking at night as well!
  • 533-541 E Jones St Raleigh, NC 27601, USA - North Central
The western side of this intersection is historic brick and should be redesigned like the brick curbcuts around the Governors Mansion. This too is a 27 year old violation of the ADA and should not be treated like a maintenace issue!
  • 200-202 Linden Ave Raleigh, NC 27601, USA - North Central
This is an ADA violation of over 27 years...NOT a maintenace issue. Do not put it at the bottom of the maintenance list!
  • 2615 Fitzgerald Drive Raleigh North Carolina - South
Tree at abandoned house blocking the light from a working street lamp that should illuminate Elm St and Euclid St. this dangerous corner. The underbrush is so thick that cars cannot see pedestrians and dogs being walked.
  • Pell St And N Bloodworth Raleigh, North Carolina - North Central
the present curbcuts DO NOT acknowledge that a wheejchair user would be coming down the sidewalk towards the curb cut. The curbcut is ONLY designed for wheelchair users crossing the intersection straight on and therefore has a very dangerous slope for wheelers coming down the side walk from N Person. A new 12 to 1 slope could be installed by removing the next flat section of sidewalk on both sides of Pell prior to reaching the curb cut and a less dangerous slope would make the curbcut safe and in compliance with the ADA. And , YES I do use that route from N Person to N Bloodworth!
  • 530 N East St Raleigh, North Carolina - North Central
No curb cuts across street intersection, force wheelchair users to go over sunken granite gutter stones and into speeding traffic coming out N Person!
  • W Corner Of 600 Blk Of Elm St & N Boundary Raleigh, NC - North Central
There is a curbcut at the East St & Bouhndary end of this sidewalk, but there is not one at western corner of Elm * Boundary...forcing wheelchair users to go out into the street in order to get to the curbcut on the sidewalk towards Watauga St.
  • N Person St & E Jones St Raleigh, NC - Blount Corridor
There is NO "category" above that addresses ADA compliance as a critical issue of civil rights and safety
