There is no apparent provision for a sidewalk at the new construction at 509 Glendale Circle. In contrast, the new house located at 503 Glendale Circle has forms laid, waiting for a concrete sidewalk to be poured. No such forms exist at 509 Glendale Circle, which should be required to install a sidewalk.

There are no sidewalks along Glendale Circle for approximately 250 feet south of Fair Street. This creates a very difficult situation for people with disabilities, and for able-bodied pedestrians in times of bad weather.

One of the pedestrian crossing signs in the crosswalk island at Liberty and Virginia has been knocked down for several weeks.

When a sidewalk slab was replaced in front of our house, concrete was spilled onto various adjoining bricks on our driveway. I just had our contractor look at it, and he said that the bricks could not be cleaned. Replacement bricks plus installation will cost $200. I expect to be reimbursed for this. Please advise me on how to obtain the reimbursement.

Numerous new potholes on Virginia Avenue between Liberty and Fair. This street is in terrible shape, and should be completely resurfaced. Repairs simply don't last.

Parts of Glendale Circle are a sheet of ice. The snow was not adequately plowed, and when it melted and re-froze, no sand or salt was applied.

Recycables were not picked up on Glendale Circle on Thursday, September 20. Carts remain by curbs. Please pick up today (Friday, September 21).

Location: Lawn extension on first house west of Glendale on south side of Jackson. The vegetation blocks views of eastbound traffic on Jackson. This is an accident waiting to happen.

This stretch of Virginia is riddled with potholes. This section really needs a complete resurfacing, as the patchwork does not hold up for long.

The radar-controlled speed warning sign on (the south side of ) South Seventh Street near Lutz is wildly inaccurate. Today I was traveling at 17 miles per hour, and the sign registered 29 mph. I have also noticed grossly inaccurate results on other days recently. The warnings are useless when they are seriously wrong.

On the southwest corner of Glendale and Jackson, the residents have installed plants on their Jackson Avenue lawn extension that create a very dangerous traffic situation. Cars attempting to turn onto Jackson from Glendale cannot see traffic moving east on Jackson. This is an accident waiting to happen.
