Illegal Dumping / Illegal Dump Sites Archived12360 Outer Drive West Detroit, Michigan - US Congressional District MI14This area has become a used car lot for people to sell their cars. It's also being used to sell Food that is being bbq'd during dinner time. Today, there are several cars up for sale and someone dumped a bunch of tires next to one of the cars and two tires have rolled onto Outer Drive. The lot always looks trashy and shouldn't be used to sell cars or food. The building on the lot has been reported before as Blight and dangerous structure but alas,, it still remains for years.

14409 Burgess Detroit, Michigan - US Congressional District MI14This home was abandoned by owner. It is open to trespass and has misc. garbage by the curbside and an enormous amount of garbage inside of home, including basement and all over the backyard. There is a blue tarp covering some of the garbage, but it is not known what else is under the tarp. Furniture has been thrown out of home also. Horrible Blight and very dangerous structure due to broken glass on windows. Basement window openings are large enough for children or animals to fall into. See additional photos below. (I will say that this is one of the most beautiful spots (minus house and debris) that one could live on in the city. The lot itself, with its trees and land is beautiful. You'd have to be there to really appreciate it.

13927 Greydale Street Detroit, Michigan - US Congressional District MI14Large Tree with huge hole in it and massive wasp nest to the left of the hole. The tree is unstable and area business is worried that if/when it comes down - it could block access to business and possibly damage home across the street. Also, lawn care workers need to access area near tree and are worried about disturbing the hornet's nest by the sound of mowers and getting attacked by them. Could you check this out when you have time? Picture to follow on Tuesday, June 9th. See two photos below.
