    After Riverwalk closes vehicles congregate in neighborhood blasting obscene music, loud screaming voices, drinking and driving, marijuana etc in Orleans landing community. If police could drive through the side streets (Atwater to Jefferson and Riopelle to Orleans to at least keep the area quiet.)

It appears our community is no longer being held hostage by outsiders during the summer months The Riverwalk traffic is moving through with the great help of DPD and parking enforcement. Specifically vehicles are no longer able to party along the side streets Please continue to enforce the "no parking, standing, stopping from 10pm-6am signage

    Signs posted throughout Orleans Landing Community "no standing, parking or stopping between 10pm and 6am". Has somewhat been enforced but haven't seen parking enforcement for few days and vehicles are starting to congregate again Also can a second circle around about 11:30 or so to ticket vehicles after first ones leave

    Another year and street lights in Orleans landing popping on and off like popcorn!! Heavy traffic and scooters now that the weather is warming up is not a good combination when the street lights suddenly go off!

    Signs posted "no parking from 10pm-6am, no parking here to corner, no stopping standing parking throughout Orleans Landing Community but they are totally ignored!! What good are the signage if they are totally ignored!! In defense of parking enforcement they sometimes come around but it's sporadic and to make a couple spins around to ticket seems to be nonexistent!! Also vehicles blow the stop signs as if they are not there.

    2am and traffic circling in Orleans Landing community as if it was during the day Clusters of stopped vehicles with groups of people each playing loud offensive music, drinking and smoking as if this was a park If one can go to sleep it is impossible to stay asleep. When the Riverwalk closes at 10pm they stop along the streets and continue the party Signs were recently put up along Franklin St "no standing from 10pm to 2am and it is as if they are not there Notice that Atwater is closed to traffic at 10pm and it seems the easiest solution to keep traffic moving through to Jefferson is to close Franklin at Riopelle at 10pm also since there is no standing anyway after 10pm!!!

    Council woman Sheffield announced that the Riverwalk area would be better patrolled by police to combat the many issues in this area.
    With that being said Saturday night was one of the worse yet in the Orleans Landing community. The street lights in the area have been out for months and months which covers up all kinds of activity! Not once was I woken up but twice once at 2am and again at 5am with groups of people hanging out, talking loud, loud music and apparent drinking going on and on and on. I have seen people put the scooters in the trunks of their cars to steal and also urinating in the open. I can’t tolerate air conditioning so my windows are up and it’s like an echo chamber between the buildings. Also cars park on both sides of the street where it is clearly posted with no parking, standing or stopping signs which makes it very difficult for cars to travel both ways on the already narrow street and sometimes they have to back out to let cars through. When the Riverwalk closes they park and throw open all doors of the cars and “party”!
    We pay taxes too why do we have to tolerate outsiders taking over this community when areas outside of Detroit wouldn’t stand for that nonsense! The kind of people that give Detroit a good name are being chased away by outsiders who don’t seem to care about anything or anyone.
    If there was more police presence to run them away they would get the message that people live here and this is not Belle Isle.
