The two landscape islands on 50th Ave. between 34th St., South and the traffic circle are the worst looking islands in the city. These two islands have been neglected for years. The weeds have taken over. Lots of volunteer weed shrubs and weed palms. It’s a major entrance into the Skyway Marina district business area and residential area. please it needs a major cleanup and re-planting

At the intersection of 50th Ave., South and 34th St., South has become a very dangerous intersection. I understand I’ve been many request for a light but it’s too close. Perhaps no left turns from both sides would be helpful. I don’t know the number but I am sure there have been many many accidents there and I am afraid every time I’m at the intersection. Cars coming from for different directions crisscrossing at high speed. This is only going to get much worse as three high-rise apartment buildings have been added to the area within a mile that will be using this shopping center.

This abandon house has had a boat at the dock for several years and now the dock is falling into the water. The dock may soon become a hazard in the canal

Can anyone tell me why there is a helicopter circling south west Saint Pete almost every night during the eight to 9 o’clock hours?

For several mornings in a row there have been large quantities of oil/gas coming down the canal from Maximo Marina. It covers half the width of the canal and runs for several hundred yards.

The traffic at this intersection of 50th Ave., South and 34th St. has dramatically increased. It has become a very dangerous intersection with as many as five different cars trying to do five different things at once. Adding a traffic light here would decrease the likelihood of an accident and also encourage people exiting the Publix shopping center I want to turn north to use the light. This would decrease the likelihood of accidents at the publics exit onto 34th.

At the corner of 1st Ave., South and 4th St., South, there is a very complicated pedestrian car intersection. There needs to be more lighting at the corner so that when you're turning right heading south on fourth Street you have a good view of pedestrians trying to cross. Very dangerous for pedestrians and bikers. There seems to be one streetlight there but it seems to be out. Even if that light is on I think there needs to be additional lighting very active intersection for pedestrians and bikers

There is no left-hand turn lane into rolling oats when you were headed northbound on MLK. The center lane is a turn lane for southbound. Most people choose to get in the wrong turn lane heading into oncoming traffic in order to turn into rolling oats. The turn lane is long enough to split for both a left turn south bound and a left turn northbound.

The stop sign at 54th Ave., South at fourth Street south is obstructed from view. There is about 50 feet of vegetation as you approach the stop sign. Besides being unsightly, you cannot see the stop sign until you were right on the intersection. Please remove vegetation between the sidewalk and the curb in the right-of-way to get Clearview to the stop sign

The section of 4th St., South has become increasingly more populated by homeless near the Salvation Army. The people are out on the sidewalks and grassy areas during the day and overnight. The area for many blocks is very littered now. Panhandling is on the rise as well. I was approached by three different people during one visit to Wendy's. It's starting to feel very unsafe. One of the main concerns is that people are crossing the street day and night in the middle of the block. There is no warning to car drivers that these people are going to start crossing in the middle of the block particularly at night. Many are crossing very slowly with carts Cains Walkers or in wheelchairs. This is very concerning and a safety issue. This is also happening a little further south of 22nd Ave. on fourth Street south between the grocery mart and the gas station. Very dangerous for pedestrians and drivers. I have already reported this to nonemergency police as well as the community center in that district. They all suggested that I go through this channel to be heard. In the city work with the salvation army to come up with an innovative response to the needs of these people. Perhaps they can be located with in the property of salvation army and or be paid a small amount to collect litter in the area. Just an idea thank you, kim
