A trashcan is sorely needed at the new Rope playground In criscuolo park. broken glass bottles that are strewn about with nowhere to put trash. All this money on a new park and not an installed trashcan in sight.

Imagine trying to roll a wheelchair down this sidewalk or walk on it without slipping on stones. If we are ever going to be a walkable community New haven needs to have better sidewalk violations enforcement. This particular sidewalk belongs to first student, a company with the motto safety first and has looked just like this for a very long time.

Buckeye pipeline has become an absentee landlord. Their sidewalk is not shoveled when it snows, and there are weed trees growing into the sidewalk.

The light timing is off on this light. Ferry st east bound traffic is only given two cars on the green light when approaching the bridge. Farren is given 22 seconds when approaching the bridge. Traffic builds up when the bridge opens and you end up waiting through light cycles because of the short green in the a.m rush hour.

The high tide swept wood chips away again and will need to be put back. a long-term solution is needed for this playground that was installed in a flood plane. Perhaps a dirt berm along the water side of the structure.

High tide washed away the wood chips again that keep the children safe when they fall from the rope playground.

Woodchips washed away again. The new playground is three months old and the high tide has already flooded/washed it out four times. This playground was built in a floodplane. The woodchips that keep kids safe from a fall keep washing away. A long term solution is needed. I wish there was a follow up community hearing before this playground was installed. This could of been avoided had there’ve been a chance for public input after the initial community meeting was held.

The new playground is great but it was built in a floodplain and so the wood chips are already being washed away by the high tide. :/
