  • 2525 East Lake Road South Palm Harbor, Florida - East Lake

At 4AM, light at East Lake Rd and Tarpon Woods Blvd is not working correctly.

There is a bad car sensor causing this light to go red for East Lake Rd traffic but there are no cars waiting on Tarpon Woods Blvd. ALSO, this light is cycling about every 20 seconds making sure all East Lake Rd traffic has to stop for no reason.

Have been reporting this issue for the last 1.5 months. If you are waiting for a part, ok but could you at least significantly lengthen the duration of the green light on East Lake Rd at this time in the morning so all traffic doesn't have to stop for no reason.

  • Lansbrook Parkway Palm Harbor, Florida - East Lake
At 4AM, the light at Lansbrook and East Lake Rd isn't working correctly. East Lake Rd light is going red stopping north / south traffic when there are no cars on Lansbrook. It has been doing this for at least a week or two.
  • 2525 East Lake Road South Palm Harbor, Florida - East Lake
At 4AM in the morning, the light on East Lake Road and Tarpon Woods Blvd is malfunctioning. Traffic on East Lake Road is being stopped for no reason even though there is no cross traffic to trip the light on Tarpon Woods Blvd to let them out. This started weeks ago (I reported it then). Now that the street paving is complete in this area, can you fix the bad sensor?
  • 721 East Lake Road South Tarpon Springs, Florida - East Lake
At 4AM in the morning, the light on East Lake Road and Forelock Road is malfunctioning. Traffic on East Lake Road is being stopped for no reason even though there is no cross traffic to trip the light onForelock Road to let them out. This started happening sometime last week.
  • Tarpon Woods Blvd Clearwater, Florida - East Lake
At 4AM in the morning, the light at Tarpon Woods Blvd and East Lake Rd stops the East Lake traffic when there are no cars on Tarpon Woods Blvd. Additionally, when it trips, it lasts a long time like it would during rush hour. It has been doing this for the last couple of weeks.
  • 170 Curlew Road Palm Harbor, Florida - Pinellas County

The timing of the sensors at US19 and Curlew are not set properly for when there is little traffic (4AM).

When the light is green for US19 North/South (but nobody waiting on Curlew either direction), when a car approaches US19 on Curlew going West to turn South on US19, the sensors pick up that they think a car wants to continue going West on Curlew but doesn't wait another couple seconds to see if that car really is getting into the turn lane to go South on US19. So it stops all US19 traffic for no reason and gives only the straight green light (not South turn light as well) and the car wanting to turn South has to wait another cycle to get the left turn light.

  • Keystone Road Tarpon Springs, Florida - East Lake

At 4AM, the light at the intersection of Keystone Rd and East Lake Rd is not set for the correct amount of time duration for green.

For example, when traffic going on Keystone activates the light (stopping East Lake traffic), it is set for a green duration which is way too long (like regular rush hour traffic) even though there is only 1 car to go.

This was working fine about a week or 2 ago but something changed recently.

  • 2444-2616 East Lake Road South Palm Harbor, Florida - East Lake

All of the center median double lights are out on East Lake Road starting at Tarpon Woods Blvd south for about 0.5 miles (about 15 lights in a row). They all went out at the same time 3 weeks ago.

I turned this in a week ago and they are still out this morning.

Note I talked on the phone with Duke Energy and they said they were NOT their lights to fix.

AND I talked with Pinellas County Streetlight group on the phone and they also said these were not their lights and they were Duke Energy lights to fix.

So I will continue to turn this in until they someone finally gets hurt (or they are fixed). IMO since both entities refuse ownership the tie goes to Pinellas County to figure out the truth.

By the way, when I talked with Pinellas County Streetlight group, they said that there are actually some lights in Pinellas County which are not Duke Energy repaired lights so stop telling everyone on this website that they are.

AND don't just do what you did last time and forward this to Duke Energy as they will just not do anything like last time.

2371-2431 East Lake Road South Palm Harbor, Florida - East Lake
All the streetlights on East Lake Rd from Tarpon Woods Blvd south to the small bridge over Brooker Creek are out at night. These are the double streetlights in the middle of the road. There are 5 to 10 of these in a row that are out - they have been out for at least 2 weeks.
  • Tarpon Woods Blvd And East Lake Rd Clearwater, Florida - East Lake
last 2 days, light at tarpon woods blvd and east lake rd is malfunctioning at 4AM.
this light is supposed to stay green for east lake rd traffic (north/south) until someone is at tarpon woods blvd.
however, the light is activating for tarpon woods blvd traffic when no one is at the intersection causing east lake rd traffic to stop for no reason.
  • Ulmerton Rd & 66th St Intersection Clearwater, Florida - Largo

at 4AM, the light for ulmerton rd traffic going east / west is 4 times as long as it used to be / should be. it now always sets the crosswalk to countdown even though there are no pedestrians pushing the buttons.

this causes the 66th street light for north / south traffic to stay red excessively long while there is literally no traffic going thru the intersection east / west.

it didn't use to be this way at this time in the morning...they were short lights for both ulmerton and 66th st traffic w/o automatically setting the crosswalk when no pedestrians are there.

a see-click-fix ticket for this issue was just closed for this intersection but it is still not setup correctly - please fix.

  • Ulmerton Largo, Florida - Largo

The left turn light at this intersection (to turn left from 66th St to go West on Ulmerton) has changed this week.

It is really long at 415AM (like it would be at rush hour traffic time) which causes North / South 66th St traffic to wail extra long at the light.

I also just turned in an issue at this intersection regarding the crosswalk - not sure if this left turn light issue for some reason is related or not.

  • Ulmerton Rd Clearwater, Florida - Largo

At intersection of Ulmerton Rd and 66th St, one of the crosswalks is malfunctioning (activating when nobody is there).

It is the crosswalk on the south side of Ulmerton, to walk across 66th St.

Multiple times this week at 415 AM noticed this - this causes traffic going North / South on 66th street to wait extra long at the light

  • 13362 66th Street North Largo, Florida - Largo
At 4AM in the morning, for the last 1+ weeks the crosswalk to cross 66th St is activated every light cycle on the North side (but nobody has pushed it). This causes the 66th St traffic to sit at the Ulmerton / 66th St light for an excessive time when there are no cars at the intersection.

Ridgemoor Blvd And East Lake Rd Clearwater, Florida - East Lake

Please state when Duke Energy will finally be done blocking lanes on East Lake Rd around Ridgemoor Blvd area to work on power lines...

This has to be probably the worst place in Pinellas County to block traffic around worker traffic time - even when they stop at 3PM the residual backup effect lasts for hours afterword into the heart of worker traffic.

Duke has been doing this off and on for 4+ months and it seems like it will go on forever since it appears they only work for a few hours a day sporadically during "normal daytime hours" (rarely nights, weekends).

  • 2551 Tarpon Woods Boulevard Palm Harbor, Florida - East Lake
reported this issue last week - still occurring - tarpon blvd and east lake traffic signal frequently stopping north / south traffic with no cars / pedistrians at intersection around 4AM.
  • 800 Tarpon Woods Boulevard Palm Harbor, Florida - East Lake
Traffic light at Tarpon Woods Blvd and East Lake Rd is malfunctioning. For last 2 days, it turns red for north / south traffic constantly when there are no cars at intersection (around 4AM). Noticed that walk sign to cross East Lake Blvd also starts to count down from 40 seconds (no pedestrians there) so this issue could be related to walk button malfunctioning?
  • Curlew Road And Us 19 N Clearwater, Florida - Palm Harbor
For the last week or so, early morning around 415AM the light at Curlew and US 19 is tripping w/o traffic at the light (normally is green for US 19 traffic unless sensors detect traffic in turn lanes or on Curlew). It appears there is something wrong with one of the sensors as it looks like it is tripping because it thinks someone is in the US 19 South and / or possibly the North turn lanes which take you onto Curlew.
  • East Lake Rd And Keystone Clearwater, Florida - East Lake
Early in the morning (4AM) the traffic light at Keystone and East Lake is false triggering red lights with no vehicles at intersection. It should stay green for East Lake traffic until cars approach on Keystone, but apparently the sensors think there are cars all the time causing the signal to cycle and pretty much causing most early morning traffic to stop at the light unnecessarily. This problem was reported a couple months ago too.
