With recent rainfall, our streets have been flooding excessively. Upon closer inspection, we discovered that the city's contractors had stuffed all of the storm sewers with these hay rolls. The rolls have been removed, but they need to be collected.

This manhole, and the sidewalk around it, have become impassable since the city's contractors have worked on it. This dangerous situation needs correcting with more than just an orange cone.

As originally reported (issue #1530457) on March 14, 2015:
Merchants have blocked the driveway to create more parking, but didn't remove the [driveway's] entrance. Customers now pull up [to] the street side of the concrete markers, blocking the sidewalk and making legal, parallel parking impossible.

The City's original response (on March 18) was:
Inspector Juan Martinez spoke with the owner of the property who does not live in the Houston area. Owner asked for 2-week to correct the parking space issues. Inspector will follow up in 2-week. Issue is closed.

    As of June 28, 2015:
The owner has taken no action, and the customers who visit this strip center continue to park on the sidewalk and block pedestrian right of way.

Open sewer line! This hole (see attached) has been here for months. The city has been trying to fix the backup for years, and the most recent subcontractor hasn't been back in over a month. The neighborhood smells of sewage, and the hole (at least 6 feet deep) is unmarked and dangerously close to residents, animals, and neighborhood children.
