There are 2 dumpsters behind CVS & TriCity Sales. Frequently the lids are not closed and debris blows across Marlborough Road into my yard. There are cages around each dumpster which are never locked & the gates are always open. Packing materials, general paper/plastic trash & Styrofoam are always strewn all over the rear parking lot. Illegal dumping also takes place as you can see by the picture. The shopping cart is from CVS & has been there for several weeks

There are two people who travel via electric wheelchair on Highland Ave. This sidewalk is not cleared enough to allow wheelchair access so these folks must be on the street in the lane that's meant to make a right tun into the drive thru Dunk's or the car wash. The sidewalk itself is probably wide enough to accommodate BUT it needs to be cut back to expose the full width. Highland Ave is a dangerous roadway & this is a tragedy waiting to happen.

Marlborough Road is one of the most heavily-trafficked roads in the city. There used to be signs prohibiting any vehicle over 2.5 tons from using it as a cut through to or from Peabody. In the last 3 weeks, there have been 4-8 tractor trailers per day noted using this road. At the bottom where Marlborough turns into Aborn, many are not able to safely make the curve, especially if the driver is speeding. So much attention is given to traffic elsewhere in Salem, especially the downtown area. This is a hazard for drivers & pedestrians alike & only adds to the extreme congestion on Marlborough Road. Can we please have some enforcement of the 2.5 ton limit or at the very least, put the signs back up & make them bigger. Thanks you.

There is no water from any faucet in our home at 17 Marlborough Road. Is there a water main break somewhere?

Water pressure on Marlborough/ Orleans/Verdon is very low this morning. No digging or work in the immediate area. What's going on?

The workers working on the back side of the hospital are not wearing masks nor are they working 6 feet apart as recommended. Yesterday there were 8-10 workers and only 2 had masks on; two workers were standing close together talking with no masks; another working was leaning on another's shoulder laughing and talking with no masks.

Traffic coming up Marlborough Road from Peabody tries to create two lanes starting at Verdon Street. Would it be possible to replace the "Don't Block Intersection" sign and the "No parking" sign (both in front of my home) with a single lane only sign? OR possibly paint single lane only on the street in big letters? Yesterday a dump truck stopped to let me back out of my driveway and an impatient driver pulled out into oncoming traffic and nearly caused a head on collision. It isn't 2 lanes until past Orleans and drivers often are encroaching into the path of drivers turning off of Highland ave. Also the "Don't block intersection" sign is too high for anyone to see and could be lowered to eye level.

Unsightly curtains at the site where Cineplex is NOT going to be. Main thoroughfare from South into Salem and it looks abandoned.

Large chair cushion dumped in bushes. Highland Ave bushes & hedges are filled trash. Pep boys property is particularly awful

A reckless driver ran this sign over and the VERY SHARP post is dangerous. Please remove the remaining post or replace the sign. Thank you!

On 6/28 sometime after 8AM, a reckless driver took out a section of our fence on the Verdon St side, knocked down the Verdon St sign and snapped off the no parking this side sign right in front of our house. The street sign and one pole are lying on the corner of Verdon and Marlborough. Can these items be picked up and replaced? Thank you.

Boston Street from the intersection of Bridge/Boston all the way to the Peabody line is horrible. The patching is uneven and the ridges in the road make it a very bumpy ride. Perhaps money can be directed for repaving rather than a new football field. Thank you.

The new basketball court at the Willows is lovely but there are no trash/recycle barrels there. On my walk this week, I picked at least 15 water bottles and numerous items of trash around the perimeter. Please put some barrels there for people to use for trash and a recycling barrel for plastic bottles.

From Marlborough down Highland Ave to Valley Street walking on the northbound (NE Vet Clinic) side, the pedestrian area is strewn with trash. The weeds along the side of the road are elbow-high. If this is a city issue, perhaps the Essex Co. Correctional facility can send a work crew out to pick up and groom. If it's a MASSDOT issue then, they should do the same. It's a mess and as a main corridor between Boston and Salem, it's not pretty or inviting at all. Thank you.

Highland Ave is so poor in so many ways but the southbound side of Highland Ave between Cherry Hill Road and Marlborough Road is filled with litter of all sorts. Perhaps some residents of the Essex House of Correction could be brought in to clean up so pedestrians could enjoy walking there.
