At first it was only 605 12th Ave that started leaving there trash cans out in front of the house. My guess is nothing was done to stop them because when viewing the house from the front it seems as though the house has no driveway access leading to the back or any other place to put their containers but out front. Wrong, there is plenty of space in the back yard of 605 12th Ave. With with a nice paved driveway leading to the back of the house from 6th street. Where they have garage and an area that was made to store the trash containers. All the people living at 605 would need to do on trash day is role the containers out from in back of the house down a short driveway to the curb on 6 Street. The house next door 607 12th Ave obviously has a driveway leading from the front of the house to the back yard however they started leaving there containers out front as well. Along with a few other houses down the street. It really gets unsightly especially when the trash overflows and blows down the street. Not to mention when the people walking back and fourth to Dinkytown late at night seem to enjoy knocking the containers over as they walk by when they are so accessible. On Saturday mornings even before the added mess from the containers spilling over, picking up the trash down 12th Ave was already much like cleaning up the midway after the State Fair .
