    The lanes of southbound N Capitol that cross NY Ave (not the lanes that go under) are marked as left lane for straight and left turns and right line for right turns, however drivers dangerously and illegally continue to use left lane to make right turns alongside or into same lane as drivers correctly making right turns from right lane. This is often at the same time as pedestrians have walk signal to cross NY Ave NW. Additional measures are needed to stop these left turns from right lane.
