1000-1098 Buckner St Houston, TX 77019, USA - Montrose
A contractor for Center Point installed new gas lines in my neighborhood. They did a poor job patching the holes they used to tunnel the new gas lines. The contractor should be required to make permanent quality repairs. My picture is just one example of several.
  • Street Hazard Archived
1801 Louisiana St Houston TX 77002, USA - Downtown

Drain grate missing in front of HFD Station 8. Also, another one on Miliam, behind the firehouse.

I road by yesterday, and the grate in front of the firestation has fallen into the trench again!

  • 1802 Milam St Houston, TX 77002, USA - Downtown
There are 3 METRO lane drainage covers missing / fallen (only 1 shown in my picture). Hazardous to bicyclist, ME, and motorcycles. This is the 5th or 6th time I have reported this issue, in this location. Need permanent fix. There also is a big cover missing in front of HFD Station 8, on Louisiana St.
  • Traffic Markings Acknowledged
S Shepherd Dr Houston, TX 77019, USA - River Oaks
The corner of Allen Parkway, S. Shepherd and Kirby Dr. has no pedestrian walk / don't walk signs. This is an extremely complex intersection, with lots of turn lanes and a complex traffic light sequence. Pedestrians and bicyclists need to be able to activate a walk sign to safely cross this intersection in all directions.
  • 1700 Travis St Houston, TX 77002, USA - Downtown
2 grates in the bus lane have fallen into the storm trench. Potentially deadly to bicyclists or motorcycles. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have reported this spot. The grates fall back in soon after they are placed. Need a permanent rmiate fix.
  • 711 Main St Houston, TX 77002, USA - Downtown
Storm Sewer grate is caved in. High risk to bicyclists.
  • 220 W Dallas St Houston, TX 77002, USA - Downtown
Sidewalk Blocked by construction or maintenance equipment and chain link fence. This machine has been next to the Doubletree hotel for over 6 months. It has always blocked the sidewalk, but now the chain link fence is leaning over, so there is less than 1 foot of clearance. No detour signs say the sidewalk is closed. I never see the equipment in use. When will it be moved?
  • 700-798 Saulnier St Houston, TX 77019, USA - Montrose
There needs to be a one-way and/or no right turn signs directly across from the parking garage exit of Broadstone Skyline apartments on Saulnier St. People constantly exit the garage and turn the wrong way to get on Heiner St. Alternatively, street parking could be eliminated, and the 700 block be made 2 ways.
  • 1845-1899 Milam St Houston, TX 77002, USA - Downtown
4 grates have fallen into the storm drain on this block, plus another a block south. especially hazardous to bicycles.

  • 1001-1099 Crosby Street Houston, Texas - Montrose
I previously reported overgrown weeds. They weed wacked, but left all the cuttings on the sidewalk and in the street, which will just wash down and clog the storm sewer.
  • 1001-1099 Crosby Street Houston, Texas - Montrose
Overgrown weeds and old political signs along parking lot
  • 1100 Gillette Street Houston, Texas - Montrose
Gillette Street from Allen Parkway to West Dallas St, was recently rebuilt. The entire street is lined with a center left turn lane, and 2 traffic lanes. However people are parking next to the Ashton Apartments, completely blocking the south bound traffic lane. Either no parking signs should be erected (like along the federal reserve building) or the turn lane needs to be adjusted.
