pedestrians are not able to walk under bridge due to poor lighting and debris which is often wet and mixed with broken glass.

this bridge needs to be improved for easier access into downtown. many women in the 77007 zip code have reported not feeling safe walking through the bridge. as a cyclist, it is extremely difficult to get through this specific portion of Houston Ave, especially now that the bike trail from woodland heights to spring Street was removed without any public notice.

also, any idea when we are going to be able to recycle again? most of my "garbage" is recycling and not actual trash. it has been an environment hazard for months, when recycling pickup should occur with greater frequency.
