Trash, recycling, and food scraps collection were all missed. They were placed at the curb last night.

New trees in front of Valente Library look like they are suffering from inadequate water as some already have leaves already turning orange in early June...
  • 25-91 Monsignor Obrien Hwy Cambridge, MA, 02141, USA - East Cambridge
Fire hydrant is leaking water which is running down the sidewalk and street. Water can be seen in the photo coming out around the blue cap.

Pedestrian signal either never goes to walk or so dim one can't tell.
  • Mcgrath Hwy & Washington St Somerville, MA, 02143, USA - Somerville
If someone who uses wheeled mobility or otherwise can't step up a curb gets off a bus in the busway under McGrath he or she must either be let off on the sidewalk of the busway with no curb cuts to get off the sidewalk or be let into the busway lane itself and then cannot safely reach the pedestrian signal button to cross the McGrath surface street to travel along Washington to the west.
  • Huntington Ave & Opera Pl Boston, MA, 02115, USA - Fenway-Kenmore

It's great that the Opera Place crossing and the Huntington Ave. (westbound) crossing have audible pedestrian signals. Please consider adding tactile tiles/detectable warnings here. This location is a couple blocks from National Braille Press which employs some individuals who are blind and take the Green Line E branch to/from Northeastern Station.

The curb cuts are wide and during some times of day the sidewalk between the westbound lanes of Huntington and the tracks is crowded when pedestrians are waiting to let a trolley pass. For someone who is blind it can be difficult to make sure one has stepped onto the sidewalk out of the street there. Tactile tiles/detectable warning would be helpful at all three corners but between Huntington westbound and the sidewalk along the tracks should be prioritized. Thanks.

The sidewalk in front of this building has often not been cleared over the last several winters.
  • Stanton Ave & Washington St Auburndale, MA, 02466, USA - Newton
This is between senior housing and Woodland Green Line T Station. Extremely dangerous as people opt to walk in the street instead of through/over this icy mess. Rest of the sidewalk has been cleared, not sure why they left this patch. Photo taken 12/9/19.
  • 3rd St & Broadway Cambridge, MA, 02142, USA - Mit
Audible pedestrian signal works but says Arborway and Washington instead of Broadway and 3rd.
  • 3rd St & Cambridge St Cambridge, MA, 02141, USA - East Cambridge
Pedestrian signal to cross Cambridge at 3rd Street not working, never gave the walk signal, or skipping multiple cycles.
  • 362-386 Cummins Hwy Roslindale, MA, 02131, USA - Hyde Park
Can the audible signal be turned up so that a blind person crossing from the cemetery side to the Stop & Shop side can hear it over traffic, please? This could make the difference between independence and reliance on another and increase safety significantly.

This is on the west side of Second St. between Cambridge St. and Gore, beside the fire station (175 Cambridge St.) but the map attaches the wrong address. This is a corrected location, don't know how my previous submission of this issue ended up several blocks away. This branch has been there nearly 2 weeks, on the sidewalk beside the fire station. It poses a tripping hazard. Lots of trash, too. Is the fire station responsible for this stretch of sidewalk?

Pedestrian signal light does not work to cross Union south to north on the west side of Ivory/Grossman from the refuge island in the middle of Union to the triangle refuge before the slip lane.
  • 55-71 2nd St Cambridge, MA, 02141, USA - East Cambridge
This large branch has been in various locations along this stretch of sidewalk for at least a week. It's a tripping hazard, particularly for anyone with a mobility disability or low vision. The compost bin has been there since Friday and there's a lot of trash strewn about. Is this sidewalk the responsibility of the fire station?

Crossing west to east on the north side of the intersection the button in the median does not appear to cause the ped signal to finish crossing Blue Hill Ave. This is a complex intersection with lots of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Please fix it. Not sure in either case if it’s the button or the ped signal itself.

Crossing west to east on the north side of the intersection the button in the median does not appear to cause the ped signal to continue crossing to go to walk. Same for the one in the median to finish crossing Blue HIll Ave. Those are both complex intersections with lots of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Please fix them and have them work every cycle. Not sure in either case if it’s the button or the ped signal itself. Many pedestrians in the area appear to expect the buttons or signals not to work and often cross without bothering to try to use them. I witnessed two elderly individuals almost get hit recently. One is able to depress both buttons. Thank you.

Standing right by it with minimal traffic I can barely hear it. This is needed for blind pedestrians to safely cross the street to Ashmont Station.

Most drivers ignore the HAWK signal by the fire station and bus stops.
  • 162 Otis Cambridge, MA - East Cambridge
It appears someone has deliberately tried to kill a mature street tree in front of 162 Otis by cutting through the bark all the way around the tree about 3-4 feet up.
