Area around the swinging benches is often littered with discarded food and drink containers Benches are getting "yucky" to sit on. Carts of homeless left around the area. The whole park, which is so lovely is becoming unattractive and "off-putting" to residents and tourists. Park needs regularly scheduled attention...

One month ago, I asked when Essex Street from Washington Sq East to Webb Street would be re-paved and made smooth. Currently, it is a patchwork of patches and depressions. Re-paving was done last year on the part of Essex from the Hawthorne Hotel as far as Washington Sq. East but has never been extended to complete the entire street. What plans are there in place to remedy this situation?

Is there a plan to re-pave Essex Street from Webb to Washington Sq. E/ Many months ago, the street from the Hawthorne Hotel to Washington Sq. E. was done but the remainder of the street hasn't been paved. As it is, it's a series of patches and depressions. Please help as this is a very heavily trafficked street.

Many of the trees along the pathway towards Forrester Street have dead limbs and branches . Some of the limbs are pretty big & in a storm, could become a problem. Being a Tree City should mean taking care of the trees we already have. Thank you for looking into this.

All that was removed were the weeds around one hidden driveway sign and the clippings were not even picked up- still looks messy. ALSO, whatever greenery is growing around the street trees has not been cut . Please return to this area between Webb St. & Hawthorne Hotel to properly take care of this issue. Thank you.

All of the street trees between Webb St & Washington St have weeds growing out of the bottoms and need to be cut back. It makes the street look messy and unwelcoming. The Trolley goes by regularly so this is what tourists see as they pass by.

At Camp Naumkeag, someone hss left a Zagster bicycle. It's been there for close to a week. Last week I called the # on the bike and gave the rep the #of the bike (#5795) and its location and was told that someone would pick it up within 42-48 hours. It was still there yesterday morning.

Leaves at curbside at several places along lower Essex St. I think the street sweeper needs to come by again.
Also a commercial vehicle from BBB has been parked on Essex Street between 48 and 50 (Old Bentley school and library) for several days without moving. Finding parking for residents or their guests on Essex St. is hard enough without others just leaving their vehicles on a residential street.

Street sweeping. Essex Street was posted for street sweeping on Oct.3rd but seems to have been missed. IF it has been done, the sweeper did a very poor job as leaves and other debris remain at the curbs.
    Thank you.

Near Daniel Street and Washington Sq. the above items have been on the street for over a week. I don't know if these have already been reported and have scheduled pickup at a later date. Our recycling week just passed and the items were still there.

Light parallel to Hawthorne St.?Sq. about halfway down, is out and makes area very dark.

Mirror is pointing in the wrong direction so that oncoming traffic is impossible to see as a driver attempts to make a left turn onto Essex St.

Dead leaves have collected along curbs and into street from Bentley to Washington Street, clogging sewer drains. Drains need to be flushed/cleaned out to prevent backup onto sidewalks and basements.
