House at 533 highland st north in st pete has numerous code, health and fire code violations, example this property is occupied by a tenant and it has not running water, the tenant allows homeless people to stay there if they do repairs, these repairs and home additions they ars doing all need permits according to city permit guidelines. Not too mention there is alot of junk stored in the backyard. A few of us on the street have made numerous complaints to code enforcement for months now and nobody has came out to inspect. Cops are.frequently at this address for warrants, drugs, noise ordinance violations, dealing in stolen property, just to name a few. They said the owner is.responsible for cleaning up the property and making sure work is being done with permits but the landlord died.recently and the tenant is.taking advantage of his elderly wife... She is clueless, what can be done? Neighbors are miserable and seem to get no help from any city agency. Please look into this matter before someone is injured by these "handymen" who dont know what their doing as far as home.repairs.
