    This is the 4th time I have tried to contact the City of Portland about the lack of fire detection and extinguishers in my building.

    Does the city care?

    All the fire extinguishers in my building were last inspected in 2016.

    The fire alarms/detectors hang from cords and in units don't work.

    Will the city inspect? Or will they wait until the building burns down?

    Why is the Press Hotel allowed to park their shuttle van in a No Parking space? They must be because I just watched a PPO ticket a car next to the van and walk past the van. It is amazing what the City of Portland allows the Press Hotel and Unified Parking Partners get away with and then cover those costs by ensuring every private car gets tickets as fast as they can!

    Why is the Mayor allowed to park his scooter for hours on end in a 15 mins parking space outside City Hall? There is not clearly visible City of Portland Parking Pass.

    Are other city leaders allowed to park where ever and for as long as they want around the City? And if that is the case please provide a copy of the city ordinance allowing such acts by the City Leaders.

    PRESS HOTEL - CONTINUES TO BE ALLOWED TO USE ALL THE SPACES ON EXCHAGNE ST AND MARKET STREET FOR VALET PARKING! THIS IS GETTING CRAZY. CITY OF PORTLAND AND UNIFIED PARKING PARTNERS MUST BE IN A PARTNERSHIP TO ALLOW SUCH A FLAGRANT VIOLATION OF THE RULES. NOT A SINGE OPEN SPACE THIS MORNING. ALL SPACES FILLED WITH CARS LEFT RUNNING AND VALET SLIPS ON DASH BOARD.

    Why is Portland Parking Division ignoring the Press Hotel / Unified Parking Partners flagellant disregard for the signs on Exchange St.

    Multiple times a day the valet uses the 5 min loading zone and 30 mins commercial zone to stage cars for hotel guests. These cars sit there while hotel guests make their way to them. All while people can't use the spaces as designed.

    Today I even witnessed a PCO just walk past hotel cars and ticket other cars in the 30 min loading zone. Why is the Press Hotel and UPP allowed to ignore the rules and and PCO only ticket locals?

    Once again the Press Hotel and UPP are taking every single space on the street.

    There are valet cars parked at metered spaces with no payments in them, cars have been in the 5 min loading in front of 120 Exchange St for an hour, vehicle loading for 30 mins and the 15 mins spaces for 2 hours.

    Why will the city not do a damn thing about it?

    I am sick and tired of this issue fix it or close down all metered parking in the city,

    Corner Room has expanded their seating area well beyond the standards. Barely enough room to walk past. Why does the City allow restaurants to violate the rules while they aggressively ticket cars who over park? I want to see the ticket the Corner Room gets!
