I have two questions about parking, there is a no parking sign with an arrow on the pole Salem Street, the pole is very close to the intersection to the intersection with Granville Ave.
First, vehicles still park with the the vehicle not in past the pole with causes
the vehicles having to be close to Granville Ave and since there is a curve there also it seems to create a hazard.
Secondly, I may under the impression that the law is vehicles need to be 20 feet from a corner.

At the intersection of Fairview Ave, Baker Street and Granville Ave there is a pothole at about 10 to 12 feet in line with the fire hydrant.
It has been filled several times in the past few years.

On Granville Ave there are several pot holes between Dale St and number 52 Granville Av.

On Main Street, at the corner of Winter Street, the traffic light was hit and isn't facing parallel to Main Street and can't be seen heading in direction of Malden Square.
Also the walk signal is damaged.

The traffic signal at the intersection of Maplewood and Webster Streets is not facing the correct direction and is damaged.
Also the pedestrian cycle is lighting without anyone pushing the button.

There is a pot hole in middle of Granville Ave at #45.
I am aware that our street is schedule for a major rehab but this pothole is fairly deep and someone could get a blow out or two.

Please patch all potholes on Granville Ave between Dale St to Preston Street including the intersections of Fairview Ave and Baker Street.
Also, please patch the small hole on Granville Ave at the gutter line of Granville Place marked by a white arrow.
I had a temporarily filled the small hole with dirt because the water running down the street was going into the hole and not past it and the water was going under the asphalt.

Small pothole at the gutter line on Granville Ave at Granville Place.
I noticed last week when the snow was melting that the water was running down the gutter into a hole and washing out the ground beneath it. I put some dirt into the hole on last Thursday to get the water to go down the gutter to the catch basin but, that only lasted a while.
It would be very helpful to have that filled before the snow
melting starts again.
FYI, the water runoff starts near #60 Granville and the catch basin is at #82 Granville.

For few days I have noticed some ice building up at the traffic island on Bainbridge St at the intersection of Pierce St.
It appears that it is coming out of the access box.

Please sweep Granville Ave between Dale Street and Preston Street
There is a lot of dirt and asphalt residue from the replacement/installation of the water mains.
Due to the water main replacement the street was not swept.
It would be very much appreciated before the snow falls and it speads any more.

I am a life long resident of Malden and I just want to say that I am sorry to see the Red/Yellow pedestrian traffic signals at the intersection of Main and Mountain Ave have been replaced only with the Walk/Don't cross signals.
I have thought for quite a while that there should have been more Red/Yellow signals along with Walk/Don't signals.
It used to be that when you were at a Red/Yellow signals that everyone would stop and turn because people would be crossing the street.
The way the Walk/Don't are located drivers can't see the signal is
on and drivers tend to turn right on red while pedestrians crossing
I think that it might make sense to have both,as it could save lives as too many people that are getting hit or killed.

With the recent install of a fire hydrant at the end of Granville Pl
it might be a good idea to install a spring type hydrant locator,
With snow pretty sure to come and the plows pushing snow inward from Granville Ave it might prevent the hydrant from being damaged.

I am just curious, why am I required to get a license for my dog and residents aren't not required to get and pay for licenses for cats and other animals?

There is a fairly large pothole in the center of the road on Rutland Street near number 50 Rutland.
