  • 220 Orange St Oakland, California - Oakland Ave-Harrison St
The apartments at 220 Orange St, keep their garbage cans, etc in an UNENCLOSED area at the front of the building which is an eyesore... AND one of the red containers HAS A MISSING LID which allows birds and animals to get into the trash can and spread the garbage outside. THIS IS AN UNSANITARY CONDITION! Waste Mgt Co will only respond to the OWNER and will NOT replace the damaged can otherwise. Attempts to contact the landlord have failed and his tenants say he ignores their communications anyway.
PLEASE HAVE DAMAGED CAN REPLACED AND HAVE RED, GREEN AND GREY BINS SCREENED OR ENCLOSED TO MITIGATE THIS EYESORE.
    Thanks!
  • Leet St & Vernon Oakland, California - Oakland Ave-Harrison St
There is a little 'green space/parklet' at the intersection of Lee Street and Vernon which attracts dumping and garbage.
  • 80 Vernon Sat Oakland, California - Adams Point
A mattress is over the sidewalk and into the street next to the fire hydrant on Vernon St, just up from Whole Foods. It seems like the residents of the apartment house adjacent to the site have once again done the DUMPING! Thanks neighbors.
  • 271 Perkins St Oakland, California - Adams Point
There are several LONG couches dumped at the curb, sitting in the rain today getting soggy and heavy.
This location is at Perkins and Jayne St.
  • Bay Place & Harrison St Oakland, California - Oakland Ave-Harrison St
The TRASH RECEPTACLES in front of Whole Foods are overflowing and trash is falling on the ground. It would have been great if the City anticipated the Holidays would lead to greater use of the trash containers so extra pickups could be scheduled.
Or you could just let Oakland get trashier and trashier and do nothing. Extra pickup. Or nothing.
  • 210 Grand Avenue Oakland, California - Adams Point
HOMELESS ENCAMPMENT ON CITY BLDG FIRE ESCAPE!!!
The Fire Escape at the REAR (Bay Place) side of the Downtown Oakland Senior Center (DOSC) has an encampment on one of the landings which would PREVENT EMERGENCY EXIT from the Second or Third Floor. The Fire Escape is COMPLETELY BLOCKED. This complant was first made to the Police Dept several days ago. Result? ZERO. Can you spell 'Ghostship'?
Seniors won't be able to jump over all the crap blocking the fire escape. The homeless encampment MUST be completely removed immediately AND kept AWAY.
  • 2600 Harrison St Oakland, California - Oakland Ave-Harrison St
Mattress & Box Spring left on sidewalk by clueless neighbors, to enhance the quality of our urban life. Thanks a lot, knuckleheads.
It's located at the rear end of Whole Foods, leaning on the fence at 2600 Harrison St.
  • Pothole Acknowledged
Perkins St @ Van Buren Oakland, California - Adams Point
Long standing DEEP pothole at Perkins and Van Buren, never seems to get fixed. This is a serious problem. Bam!
  • 3772 Leighton Oakland, California - Piedmont Avenue
A compact car half-way in the driveway of 3772 Leighton always parks completely across the sidewalk, blocking access.
This is a hassle for anyone walking, on crutches or in wheelchair. Note this location is one block from Kaiser Hospital where this is a common concern.
  • 52 Hamilton Place Oakland, California - Oakland Ave-Harrison St

Mattress on the sidewalk, other trash around a city trash container at this bus stop.

Note that the residents of this house appear to put junk out on the street regularly!

Even the Google maps page documents the trashy condition of this location.

  • Perkins At Van Buren Oakland, California - Adams Point
YESTERDAY, THERE WAS JUST ONE OVERSTUFFED CHAIR BY THE TRASH RECEPTACLE, TODAY THERE ARE TWO. HOW MANY WILL THERE BE TOMORROW?
PLS COME PICK THEM UP BEFORE THEY MULTIPLY!!! THEY ARE DIRECTLY UNDER THE STREET SIGN. THANKS!
