An actual PAVED sidewalk needs to be installed on Pinecrest. DOT will not install a desperately needed crosswalk at the intersection of Morganton and Pinecrest unless there is a sidewalk on Pinecrest. This is a vital installation for the neighborhood as there are many of my neighbors and myself that have to cross Morganton to visit the park on Woodrow, get to FTCC, I have a neighbor who bikes her children to daycare on Fort Bragg Road. I did not see Pinecrest listed on the Sidewalk improvement plans. It would be nice if we could safely bike from our home to the park on woodrow without worrying if my children are going to get hit by a car and having to play leap frog with traffic on Morganton.

There is constant speeding and drivers who take a blind curve very narrow. At some point someone is going to hit someone else head on and/or hit one of our children. There has been one speed study before but the measurements were taken at the top of the hill, not where the issue has been occurring. In the time I've written this I've witnessed 3 cars going well past 25 MPH past my house. There are a lot of children that live in the area and play out front and this is a constant issue. We've tried buying our own caution signs to put out in our yards with no help.

There are TONS of ant hills around the park that need to be treated

Pwc did some work awhile back and left a huge square missing of the road, half filled it in with some dirt and gravel and left a cone over it. It is a hazard because people have to go into the other lane to get around it and the road is coming up on a hill and you can't see people coming.
